Bow

Description

A bow is a traditional handheld weapon used for shooting. A simple bow was made from bent hardwood (tobylgy, maple, and other types) with both ends tightened by a leather string. A composite bow was reinforced on the outer side with sinew and covered with horn on the inner side; some examples feature bone overlays on the center and ends.
