Description

Obverse: The upper part bears the inscription “National Bank of Kazakhstan.” The center features a portrait of the prominent Kazakh scholar, ethnographer, and traveler Shokan Ualikhanov. On the left, the denomination “Ten Tenge” is printed in green. Reverse: The upper part contains the vertical inscription “National Bank of Kazakhstan.” The lower left features the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, while the right side displays the numeral “10” against a background of traditional Kazakh ornamentation.
