Description
X-XIII centuries. Round shape, high-quality casting. It has natural spots. The outer edge of the mirror has a vertical bevel. The surface onto which the image is projected is shiny and smooth. In the middle of the relief surface, there is a groove for threading a string. The outer lip and inner segmental circles are separated by a band 1.5 cm wide. Its entire surface is covered with Arabic script. The letters are executed in the Maghreb style, originating from Kufic writing. The area of the circle is adorned with two sphinx figures, created in a heraldic manner. The sphinx has a human head and an animal body. Made using melting, casting, and embossing techniques. Size: Diameter – 11 cm, thickness – 0.6 cm.

The edge of the mirror is chipped and jagged, darkened.
