This Certificate to K. Orazbayev

Description

This Certificate of Honour was issued by the Embi District Committee of the Trade Union of Cultural Workers to K. Orazbayev, head of a department of the district newspaper, for active journalistic work and in connection with the 50th anniversary of the newspaper “Emba” (“Yembi”). The document has a vertical format and decorative features characteristic of Soviet award printing of the 1980s. The upper section contains an image of V. I. Lenin against a background of red banners and state-symbolic elements. Decorative columns on the sides contain imagery associated with the political, industrial, and cultural themes of the period. The award text is printed in Russian. The lower section bears the signature of district trade-union committee chairman A. Amirzhanov and an official round stamp.
