The Jubilee Medal “Kazakhstan Republic of Kazakhstan 20 Years of Independence” was awarded to I. Saparbai. The obverse features the anniversary emblem-a raised numeral 20, designed as a radiant sun with symbols against the backdrop of a waving flag. Below is a raised image of the Akorda building. The reverse features the raised inscription “Kazakhstan Republic of Kazakhstan 20 Years of Independence.” The medal is attached to a ribbon bar covered with a rigid ribbon using a loop-and-ring method. The ribbon consists of two stripes of red and blue. In the center is a metal sticker in the form of a vertical, raised laurel branch.
