Description
The 50-ruble banknote dated 1991 is a paper monetary sign of the USSR. The watermark contains a profile portrait of Vladimir Lenin, corresponding to the portrait depicted on the obverse. The central part of the obverse features Lenin’s profile, the State Emblem of the USSR, and the denomination in both written and numerical forms. On the right white strip, the denomination “50” is placed within a stylized brown rosette, with the year “1991” indicated above in green. The reverse depicts the Grand Kremlin Palace and the Taynitskaya Tower within an oval. The denomination is given in the languages of the Union republics, while the series and serial number are printed twice.
