Description
Radial bone of Schizotherium. A paleontological specimen from the Miocene epoch (approximately 23-5 million years ago). A fragment of the radial bone of a large herbivorous Schizotherium. The bone provided support and movement functions for the forelimb. The morphological features retain the characteristic traits of Schizotheriidae and have scientific significance for studying the continental fauna of the Miocene, reconstructing paleoecological conditions, and conducting morphofunctional analysis.
