Bornite

Description

Bornite-magnetite-chalcopyrite ore. A complex mineral association containing important ore minerals of copper and iron. Bornite is characterized by blue-to-purple hues, magnetite displays a gray-black coloration and high density, while chalcopyrite is marked by a golden-yellow color and metallic luster. The specimen reflects the diversity of the ore’s mineral composition and the features of copper-iron mineralization formation.
