Lid

Description

A cauldron lid with a flat, U-shaped handle, spherical truncated shape, handmade using modeling technique. The outer surface is concave. The handle is flattened with two indentations. A groove is incised on the surface, inside of which a near-rectangular meander pattern is modeled along the edge of the lid. On the inner side, around the handle, a floral ornament is incised, depicting an eight-petaled flower. Inside the lid, there is a through-hole and traces of soot.
