Description
The plate is made of red clay and is hemispherical in shape, with a disc-shaped foot. The rim is straight, with a thickened edge and a flattened-oval cross-section. The vessel was made on a potter’s wheel. The surface is coated with light-coloured slip and light-green glaze. The interior base is decorated with an underglaze ornament in the form of a swirling rosette. The rim is decorated with brown dotted ornamentation. On the exterior, traces of light-green glaze drips are visible along parts of the rim.
