Description

State Credit Note of the State Bank of the Russian Empire, 3 Rubles. The obverse features the State Coat of Arms, the denomination “Three Rubles,” a statement guaranteeing the exchange of credit notes for gold coin, the signatures of the Governor and Cashier, the “N II” monogram, and the year of issue. The reverse bears the State Coat of Arms, a reference to the law of 14 November 1897, and a repeated numeral “3” incorporated into an ornamental decorative design.
