Et tabak

Description

Meat dish (Et tabak). A type of tableware used in the everyday life of the Kazakh people. This dish is carved from a solid piece of wood; natural traces of wear are visible on the edges and surface, indicating its long-term use. The central part is hollowed out for the convenient placement of food, and the base is made in the form of a rounded bottom. Circular in shape, brown in color, it is a lightweight household item.
