Shokpar

Description

This shokpar is made from a solid tree root. The upper part is knotty, heavy, and rounded, possessing great striking power. The handle is thin and crafted to fit comfortably in the hand. For ease of grip, the lower part is wrapped with a leather strap. The weapon is simple in design but strong and durable.
During times of military campaigns, the shokpar was used both for defense and attack. Its heavy head made it suitable for knocking an opponent off horseback and delivering a crushing blow. In addition, in everyday life it was used for herding livestock and protection from wild animals. The head is rounded. The handle is covered with leather and is equipped with a tassel and a loop.
