Description
A oil lamp made from well-kneaded dense red clay dough, containing minor impurities of fine sand particles and mica inclusions. The reservoir is round, with a slightly raised spout, open form, and a rectangular edge. The surface of the vessel, both inside and outside, is coated with a light slip, over which a layer of transparent, colorless glaze has been applied. There is a single-color underglaze ornamentation in brown. The rim is narrowed, with flattened oval-shaped edges in cross-section. The bottom of the reservoir features a spiral relief.
