Description

Jug, hand-molded, red clay, covered with light red engobe. The body is spherical, slightly inflated at the top, tapering to a flat bottom. A loop-shaped handle with a knob on top is attached vertically from the side wall of the body to the rim. A convex, applied horizontal rim with inclined hatched slits has been partially preserved along the outer wall of the neck. At the level of the handle attachment, four convex knobs located along a horizontal line have been preserved along the convex wall of the body. The outer walls of the body in the lower part of the vessel are smoked.
