Description
The amulet consists of a rectangular case made of 800 silver, attached to a suspension chain and a ring-shaped fitting. Additional pendants and decorative elements are suspended from chains at the lower part of the case. The front surface is ornamented with decorative motifs, while the central section features an Arabic inscription executed in gold. Engraving was used to decorate the silver surface of the case. The combination of silver and gold creates a distinctive ornamental effect. The object is of historical and ethnographic significance as an example of 20th-century amuletic jewellery, combining decorative metalwork with the symbolic and sacred function of an epigraphic text.
