Description
Western Kazakhstan. Date: 20th century.
The saddle is assembled from several wooden parts, with the front and rear arches covered in bone. The surface of the bone is adorned with patterned brass plates secured with nails and features various relief ornaments. The front arch is tall, with a pointed straight shape. The top of the saddle is covered in black leather, embellished with embossed patterns and decorative metal nails with heads. Iron stirrups are connected to the saddle through leather straps and metal buckles.
