Description

The item has an oval shape, with the main body made of wood. The diameter of the upper rim is 3 cm, the height is 8 cm, and the base diameter is 4 cm. The central rotating mechanism is made of metal, and the lever is secured with iron fastenings. Circular ornamental patterns are placed on the upper, lower, and middle sections of the body. The item is painted yellow. According to available information, this pepper mill was used by the family of the prominent scholar, ethnographer, and traveler Shoqan Shyngysuly Ualikhanov.
