Banknote 1 Ruble. 1961. Serial No. Еь 2504938
Obverse: on the left white vertical stripe, the upper part contains the numeral “1” above a frame; the remaining area is filled with a background that shades from yellow to light green. In the center, an ornate frame encloses the denomination – the numeral “1” and the inscription “ОДИН рубль” (One Ruble). To the left is the State Emblem of the USSR (1956 version) with 15 ribbon folds. At the top right, above the upper ornament with the inscription “Билет Государственного банка” (State Bank Note), is a frame containing the intertwined letters “СССР”.
Reverse: the background transitions from yellow to light green. In the center, the denomination is written in two lines – “ОДИН рубль” (One Ruble). Above it, within an interlaced linear design, appears the inscription “СССР”, with an additional expression below.
