Description

Pile carpet. The central field of rectangular form with red background. Ornamented with three large medallions and inscribed rosettes gulkauyzy. Bordered with patterns shynzhara of green color with patterns gul. Border ornamented with patterns gul on black background. Edged by strip of red-brown pattern kogeris. From two sides on length – black pileless border. On width – fringe from warp twisted woolen threads of grey color. 2nd half of 20th century. Woolen yarn, cotton threads, pile weaving. 235х400 cm. Made in Keles dis-t, South Kazakhstan (Shymkent) region.
