Still Life with Vegetables

Description

Author: Duzhnova, Zhanna. 1942-2002
A still life with vegetables set against a dark pattern-painted tray: bundles of garlic and hot peppers hang from above, while a pumpkin, aubergines, and a dish of sweet peppers on woven napkins are arranged on the table. The composition is built on a dense grouping of objects at the centre, unified by a dark background and a low vantage point. The colour scheme is rendered in a deep, muted palette.
