June Evening

Description

Author: Frolova, Valentina. 1915-1990
A mountain landscape with a genre motif, depicting an open valley traversed by a river; at the center, several human figures gather near haystacks. In the background, mountain ranges with snow-capped peaks stretch beneath a blue band of sky. The horizontal, elongated format accommodates a panoramic composition built on alternating spatial planes, where the winding ribbon of the river draws the eye into the depth. Rendered in a realistic style with a decorative generalization, the work features a broad manner with dense brushstrokes sculpting the volumes of the mountains. The image captures the expansiveness and serene majesty of alpine nature. At the lower right - signature and date.
