Brand mark

Description

A livestock branding iron made in the form of cast letters representing the name of the village. The branding iron was in use in 1957 at the Lepsy State Farm. It is made of metal and bears the letters “Л С” on its upper part. It was used to identify the village to which the livestock belonged. The branding iron was heated in a fire and applied to the animal’s skin.
