Description
This red clay dish is covered with a light engobe. It is hemispherical in shape and rests on a disc-shaped base. It is a easel-made piece. The rim is straight, the edges are thickened, slightly curved outward, and the cross-section is flattened oval. The interior is covered with a transparent glaze. The interior surface is richly decorated with underglaze ornamentation of plant and zoomorphic nature in brown, red, and beige.
