Description
Medal “50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”. Awarded to: Sedelnikov L.E.
The medal is circular in shape. The obverse features the Kremlin wall with the Spasskaya Tower, Saint Basil’s Cathedral (Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat), and a festive salute. At the bottom of the medal is the image of the Order of the Patriotic War and the dates “1945-1995”, with laurel branches running along the edge.
On the reverse side, in the center, there is the inscription: “50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”. At the bottom, along the edge, there is a laurel half-wreath. The edges of the medal are bordered by a rim. All inscriptions and images are embossed.
The medal is connected by a loop and ring to a pentagonal mount covered with a red silk moiré ribbon. On the left side of the ribbon there are five stripes: three black and two orange; the outer black stripes are edged with orange. On the reverse side of the mount there is a pin fastening.
