Medal ’50 Years to the Virgin Land’

Description

The medal is round-shaped and is attached with a hexagonal plate covered with a blue ribbon through a bracket and a ring. The edges of the ribbon are in yellow and green stripes. On the front side of the medal, there are embossed gold-colored images: a combine reaping grain against the backdrop of the sun rising on the horizon, surrounded by golden ears of wheat. In the center of the back side, there is the inscription in Kazakh and Russian: “Republic of Kazakhstan ’50 Years to the Virgin Land’ - Республика Казахстан ’50 лет Целине’.” The lower part features a laurel branch depicted around the perimeter. All images and inscriptions on the medal are embossed and gold-colored. The edges of the medal are protruding. The back of the plate has a pin fastening.
