Whip

Description

Whip (traditional whip) - one of the traditional elements of the horse tack of the Kazakh people. The handle of the exhibit is entirely made of metal, specifically copper-colored iron, and has an elongated cylindrical shape. A section of the handle is decoratively wrapped with metal wire in a spiral pattern. A leather loop for holding the whip in the hand is attached to the upper part of the handle. The lower part of the whip is made of braided brown leather strips. The end of the braid features leather straps and metal fastening elements. The surface of the object shows signs of abrasion, darkening, and natural wear, indicating prolonged use.
