Description

A traditional Kazakh carpet product. The wall-mounted embroidered carpet occupied a place of honor in the yurt and served as an amulet carpet. Therefore, the tanned skin of a fox, wolf or kamcha was often hung on the wall with it, which, according to popular belief, were supposed to protect a person’s home from the evil eye and spoilage.
The carpet is made of felt and consists of six round ornamented fields framed between the circles by ornamented borders.

Condition

The fabric looks in good condition. There are no visible tears, stains, or significant wear. The colors are bright and saturated, the pattern is clear. There are small creases on the right side, but this does not affect the safety of the material. Overall, the fabric is well preserved and well maintained.
