Description

The lamp is made of ceramic using moulding and firing techniques. It was used as a traditional oil lamp. The lamp is round in shape, with a vertical projection in the centre, featuring a hole at the top for suspension. Eight openings for wicks extend from the main body. The surface is coated with green glaze. Partial flaking of the paint is visible in some areas. At present, five of the eight wicks are damaged (broken).
