Ayakqap (storage bag)

Description

Ayakqap is a traditional ethnographic item used for storing tableware, with fringed edges. It is made of felt. The white felt base is decorated with a “qoshqar müyiz” (“ram’s horn”) ornament made of red felt using the appliqué technique. The edges of the item are finished with fringe.
