Deer Statuette

Description

The deer figurine is characterized by its compact proportions, while the antlers and body contours are rendered in a stylized yet expressive manner. The figurine was produced by casting in a specially prepared mold. After removal from the mold, most objects underwent additional finishing processes, including sharpening, grinding, and drilling. One of the significant achievements of ancient craftsmen was the mastery of soldering techniques, while the tin content in bronze made such objects more resistant to oxidation.
