Coarse-crystalline

Description

Coarse-grained marble with a bluish tint. A metamorphic rock whose main mineral component is calcite (CaCO₃). The sample exhibits chambered structures characteristic of garnet skarn. Also present are bornite with purple hues and chalcopyrite of a golden-yellow color. The mineral association reflects the features of the metamorphism of carbonate rocks and hydrothermal ore-forming processes.
