A decorative painterly composition constructed as a richly saturated still-life interior. The centre of the image brings together objects associated with the artist’s creative environment: portraits, a dombra, a vase with flowers, and fruit. The space is treated conventionally: the objects are not so much arranged in depth as layered over one another, forming a dense, almost mosaic-like structure. The composition is distinguished by its dynamism and decorative expressiveness. The work conveys the atmosphere of a creative studio as a collective image of the artist’s world - a world of objects, colour, memory, and inspiration. There is a signature at the bottom right.
