Silver Jewelry Clasp

Description

A decorative jewelry clasp of a shaped form resembling a leaf. The central plate features a prominent decorative element set within a hollow mount. Seven symmetrical loops are arranged along the sides of the object for attaching connecting elements. The surface is ornamented with granulation forming an elaborate amulet-like pattern, while the edges are finished with finely worked traditional filigree. The combination of stamping, granulation, and filigree demonstrates characteristic techniques of traditional Kazakh silverwork. The clasp is of artistic and historical-ethnographic interest as an example of 19th-century handcrafted jewelry. The silver structure and decorative elements are preserved in good condition.
