House-Museum of D.P. Bagaev

Pavlodar Region Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation "G.N. Pavlodar regional historical and local history museum named after Potanin" Bagaev House-Museum branch of the communal state treasury enterprise.

The museum-house of D. P. Bagaev is a branch of the regional historical and local history museum named after G. N. Potanin, opened on January 30, 2001.

The exposition is located in three rooms and in the restored photo pavilion in 2001, which was attached to the house at the beginning of the 20th century. The museum house itself is a historical and architectural monument of peasant life at the end of the 19th century. The museum is the only museum dedicated to the memory of the photographer-artist in the city of Pavlodar and in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

D. P. Bagaev lived in this house from 1905, when his creativity began, until the last day of his life (1958).

According to the concept of the museum, the main task of the museum staff is to remember D. P. Bagaev, to keep the exposition and exhibits in order, to find new information about his work and life and to promote them.

At the same time, we maintain cultural ties with other museums, collaborate with modern photographers, and work with them.

Research work of the museum - D.P. The result of the search and collection of new and unknown devices about Bagaev. His annual heritage and photography collections were studied and published in preparation for the next lectures and exhibitions.

D.P. In order to popularize Bagaev's legacy, the creativity of modern photographers was studied, contacts were established with them, and a press release and scenario was compiled for the presentations of their works.
