Historical and Local Lore Museum of the Uspensky District
The museum was opened in August 2006 by order of the district akim Vladimir Ivanovich Levchenko and received the status of the State Institution "Historical and Local History Museum of the Village of Konstantinovka, Uspensky District".
The museum was allocated an exhibition hall in the District House of Culture with an area of 180 sq.m. The veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor Ivan Lazarevich Kimash donated the most interesting rare material, cultural and everyday objects of the first settlers from Ukraine, Russia, as well as items from the Great Patriotic War to the museum. December 14, 2015 became a significant date in the fate of the historical and local history museum of the district, its opening took place in a separate building on Bayuk Street, 35, the total area is 261 sq.m.
The museum fund was replenished due to the merger of two museums - the district historical and local history museum and the historical and industrial museum of the 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan collective farm. It should be noted that many exhibits, especially household items from the early 20th century, arouse keen interest among visitors. We partially placed exhibits in the halls according to chronology and theme, designed thematic expositions, reflecting the main stages of the history of the district, starting with the resettlement, the formation of the district, materials about the participants of the war, Afghans, virgin land pioneers and up to the present day, collected photographs, text materials, albums, cultural and household items of our fellow countrymen - evidence of the fleeting time for at least a century, this is the history of our native land. There was a place for the works of our masters of applied art, as well as the veteran movement of the district. There is a room for the museum funds (15.5 sq.m).
