The plaque from the belt ornament – a cover for the belt.
Convex, in the shape of a bat. The front surface is adorned with figures of mountain rams - argalis, soldered in four rows: 1 - in the top first row, 6 - in the second, 8 - in the third, 6 - in the fourth. In the top row, at the edges, there is one argali head soldered on each side; in the second row, one side has one argali head soldered, while the other side has just the horns. Between the 2nd and 3rd rows, there is one nest soldered. The argalis have their legs drawn in, with cutouts on their bodies - comma-shaped nests for the inlays of gemstones.
Date: 8th-7th centuries BC.
Location: the village of Zhalauyly, Rayymbek District, Almaty Region. Accidental find.
