Description

Uzık bau is an ornamented woven strip designed to decorate the uzık yurt. The item is made from dyed wool using the technique of pile weaving. The basis of the ornamental composition consists of diamond-shaped elements, framed by the patterns “baldak” and “syńar müyiz.” The other parts are adorned with ornaments in the shape of “flower” and “leaf.”
