Breast Badge

Description

The badge belonged to Afghan war veteran Yerbosyn Kұnshybaev. Made of copper and bronze, it has a round shape. The front side features the flags of the USSR and Afghanistan, as well as the sun and a bird, symbolizing peace and victory. The reverse side is smooth, and some specimens have a confirming stamp. The badge is attached with a metal clasp to a gray ribbon. It serves as a commemorative award certifying participation in combat operations in Afghanistan, as well as recognition of military valor and fulfillment of international duty.
