Description

Commemorative coin “100th Anniversary of Mukhan Tulebayev” from the “Personalities” series is a collectible coin dedicated to the outstanding Kazakh composer and People’s Artist of the USSR, Mukhan Tulebayev, and issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth. The reverse features a monument to M. Tulebayev, erected in Almaty, against the background of a musical staff. The left side bears the inscription “МҰҚАН ТӨЛЕБАЕВ” in the state language and the dates “1913-2013”, indicating the composer’s year of birth and the year the coin was minted. A raised rim runs around the circumference. The exhibit commemorates Mukhan Tulebayev’s contribution to the development of Kazakh musical art and has historical-cultural and collectible value.
