An abstract-associative (non-objective) composition with elements of linear graphics. The surface of the canvas is filled with thin, interwoven winding lines that evoke associations with bird-like contours. The weightless drawing rests on a light pinkish-white ground with a scattered reddish-pink granular texture that thickens towards the edges and corners. The composition is planar, sparse and dynamic, built on the rhythm of flowing lines and the contrast between the graphic contour and the soft, shimmering background. The manner is sketch-like and linear, improvisational, with an emphasis on a poetic, conventional mood. Artist’s signature at the lower right.
