Bayonet-knife

Description

Belonging to the first half of the 20th century, this artifact is a bayonet for the famous German Mauser 98k carbine, which was in service during the First and Second World Wars. The blade of the exhibit is straight, forged from steel, with a pointed tip; traces of historical wear and corrosion caused by time are clearly visible on its surface. The handle of the weapon is secured on both sides with wooden grips, and the locking mechanism at the top allows it to be mounted on a rifle barrel or used in hand-to-hand combat. Reflecting the military-technical development of its era, this rare exhibit is a valuable museum artifact that tells the story of 20th-century wartime history.
