Medal with Certificate.

Description

The Medal “For Courage” with its certificate. The medal is round in shape. The obverse features three aircraft flying in formation, with the raised inscription “FOR COURAGE” in two lines in the centre. Below the inscription are the letters “USSR” and an image of a tank. The edge of the medal is decorated with a serrated border. The medal is accompanied by a certificate confirming the award, as well as a ribbon. The award dates to the Soviet period. The date of issue of the certificate is 19 February 1947.
