Jug (Clay Vessel)

Description

The vessel is crafted using traditional pottery methods by kneading clay and firing it at a high temperature. The body is egg- and cone-shaped: the shoulders are wide and rounded, gradually tapering towards the bottom. The base is flat and stable. The neck is short and narrow. The surface is smoothed, with subtle marks from the potter’s wheel visible. This exhibit is a valuable ethnographic artifact illustrating folk craftsmanship and traditional domestic patterns of the late 19th century.
