Membership Card

Description

This exhibit is a Membership Card (No. 0333) of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, belonging to the writer Shaken Kumisbayev. The card was issued on May 22, 2007, authenticated by the signature of Nurlan Orazalin, Chairman of the Board of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan.
The membership card is designed as a two-page hardbound booklet made of dark blue artificial leather. The inner pages are covered with special protective paper featuring a light blue guilloche pattern. The left page displays the name of the organization (in Kazakh, Russian, and English), the serial number of the card, the full name of the owner (“Kumisbayuly Shaken Telibaitegi”), the Chairman’s signature, and the date of issue.
The right page features a color photograph of Sh. Kumisbayev (3×4 cm) stamped with the official blue circular seal of the organization. Additionally, the year of joining the Union (“1983”) and his literary pseudonym (“Shoqpar”) are filled in by hand.
