Description

Set of tableware: consists of a knife, fork, and teaspoon. The handles of the knife and fork are made of bone, while the handle of the teaspoon is made of plastic. The metal parts are made of stainless steel and processed using stamping, mechanical working, grinding, and polishing techniques. The components are assembled and fastened together. The teaspoon bears the marking “STAINLESS STEEL.” The set is housed in a box covered with blue fabric. A yellow-colored metal plaque with the engraved inscription “Dorogomu Zhurumbeku Sydykavichu ot blagodarnogo uchenika. 28 yanvarya 1972 g.”[To dear Zhurumbek Sydykavich from a grateful student. January 28, 1972.” is attached to the box.] The set was presented to Zhurymbek Sydykov by his student on January 28, 1972. It was transferred to the museum collection by his descendant, A. Egizova.
