In the distance rise mountains crowned by a high snow-capped peak, while to the left, a round moon is visible in the sky. The panoramic composition is built on alternating spatial planes, where the curve of the path and the small figures of the riders draw the viewer’s eye toward the peak, forming the thematic core of the work. Rendered in a realistic style, the piece features a soft manner with delicate tonal transitions and a refined depiction of light and atmosphere.
