The Last Spring

Description

Author: Funkorineo, Yuri. 1941
A landscape capturing a sunlit green lawn surrounded by blossoming trees. In the foreground stands an old tree with a powerful, twisted trunk and sprawling, gnarled branches partially dusted with white blossoms. Set deeper within the lush flowering growth are small houses with sloping roofs. The dark silhouette of the venerable tree stands out against the pale blue sky and the delicate white-and-green palette of the spring garden. At the lower left - the artist’s monogram and date.
