A genre composition depicts a festive gathering around a low, round table (zhozy): seated on the floor to the left is an elderly man holding a bowl with a child resting against his knee; in the foreground stands a woman in a white headscarf pouring koumiss, while men, including a young dombra player, occupy the center and right. Arranged in a circular sequence around the table, the figures feature forms generalized through broad planes within a stylized space. The palette is built on warm ochre-brown tones, animated by the white spot of the tablecloth and the blue accents of the clothing.
