A memorial still life. Set against a neutral, light background, various items of military uniform are arranged across a table: an overcoat, a belt, a winter cap, a steel helmet, a duffel bag, and a tunic adorned with a medal and the Order of the Red Star, with a folded sheet of paper placed underneath. Behind these items, a vessel holding two red tulips emerges. The juxtaposition of frontline equipment with live flowers lends the composition a sense of remembrance and reflection on the war years. Executed in a realistic manner with broad, impasto brushstrokes, the artwork features generalized forms. The color scheme is built upon muted tones, punctuated by the resonant accent of the flowers and the order ribbon. At the lower left - signature and date.
